This is a shoutout to Steve Medved for the outstanding work he does. I just back four reproducers of a bunch I sent him and I was amazed at the job he did on everyone of them. They are a Model-N, a Model-D, a Model-B, and an Automatic. He is one of the most knowledgable persons on Edison's I've ever met.

I agree. He is the best. I just got back a bunch of cylinder reproducers from him. I've been busy with other project, so I didn't have a chance to test them out. The work he has done for me in the past is first rate and very reasonable. Unfortunately he is backed up until Jan. 2015. But that's the price to pay for high quality workmanship.

I second (or third I guess) what the others have said. He does great work and is very friendly.

Speaking of rebuilding a reproducer.. I still haven't rebuilt my Silvertone reproducer. My No. 2 was very easy, but I don't see how the Silvertone comes apart. Does the inner portion of the front unscrew from the back? It sounds good now, but I'm sure a rebuild would greatly improve it, but the last thing I want to do is to damage it. Advice?

Thanks,
Scott

Scott,
Come to the OTAPS meeting and sale in Portland. It is tomorrow for the meeting, and Sunday for the sale. I'll bring my took kit, and show you how to do it.

Sorry Harvey. Can't make this one. Might be able to get with you at a later date, if that's do-able.
