Absolutely! I generally hesitate to post in this section lest I accidentally screw something up for someone who's working on a purchase, but this has been sitting there gettin' no love for 16 days as of today, and I'm feeling too old for a nine-hour round trip at the moment. It's essentially the same as a VV-XVII, and in my opinion -- I know others may disagree -- quite possibly a better player for having the "fat" taper tube and No. 2 soundbox. I'm genuinely surprised no one's gone to get it.

The 130 is a handsome and great machine. If I didn't already have TWO of them, I'd get after my family up there to grab it for me.

If it were THAT easy! My family up there is "distant" to say the least and getting that to happen would likely be more trouble than I'm able to handle!

Are you under the impression the VV-XVII has a skinny tone arm..???. The fact is, both models use the same arm. The #2 reproducer was the only major improvement and it was actually introduced on the later VV-XVII marked Victrola's.
