Union Trip Itinerary From Oregon

Here's my tentative itinerary from Albany, OR to Union.

Leave Albany on 6/6 at 4:30 am.

Pick up fellow phono nerd Dan M. in Portland and load his things plus anything else people have left with him. Get out of Portland before traffic gets bad. Drive east on I-84.

At Boise, ID pick up a 2&4 min Col BKT plus sixty some cylinders. (You may see this at Union for sale.)

Exit I-80 at Laramie and drive south & east to Denver. Would anyone like me to pick up a jackolope while in Wyoming?

In Denver I pick up three music boxes for a Seattle collector and at another stop I pick up a Victrola XVII or 130 (I don't remember what I bought months ago) and head east on I-70 towards Kansas City.

In Kansas City we hope to visit two collectors. After our visit we'll head north on I-35.

In northern Iowa we'll pick up a Victrola for Wes L.

In the Minneapolis / St Paul area of Minnesota we'll make three stops. At the first we'll pick up a "L" door XVI and an oak XVII for a collector in Tennessee. I'm embarrassed to say the next two stops are to pick up tin litho doll houses for DeeDee.

Next, we'll drive east towards Green Bay so see collectors and pick up things that were delivered at the Wayne show.

We'll turn south on I-43 to Milwaukee and follow up on a lead.

From there we will drive south and west to Rockford, IL to deliver a Schwinn Krate Sting-Ray that my son sold on ebay.

From Rockford it's a short hop to Union and a frosty cold beer before the Thursday afternoon load-in at the show.

Jerry, it sounds like there isn't a wasted opportunity in your itinerary! I imagine the return trip will be just as busy. It sounds like it'll be a lot of fun, I wish I could meet you at Union and thank you in person for all of your help.

I can't wait to wind the AO and the Home for my first time! :)

Be safe,

Fran
