A really gorgeous machine!

Do you know the story behind how it found its way to America?

Clay,

I wish that I had a wonderfully elaborate convoluted historical story to tell you, but, the simple fact is that I purchased this machine on Ebay France.
So the answer would be Colissimo International Shipping.

That video was super, and the French G&T with that large Concert horn had such a nice tone.Of course,at the time the record was made outside horn machines were considered passe in America, and Victor wanted people to get rid of the older Victrolas and get one of the new Orthophonic Victrolas. But,the outside horn was still popular in England and European countries.edisonplayer
