When you can't attend Union...

...bring Union to you!
I was unfortunately not able to make the show this weekend, due to a conflicting event. Motor Muster, which is the annual car show at The Henry Ford Museum's Greenfield Village, was also this past weekend and I had already registered several cars to attend when I found out Union was the same weekend. So, I decided to bring my HMV 102 along to the show, and spent quite a bit of time playing Glenn Miller 78s in the shade next to the 1940 Dodge. I think the phonograph attracted more visitors than the car!
Oddly enough, the '37 De Soto that was stationed next to me was owned by a phonograph collector who was also disappointed about missing Union this year. My other neighbor who owned the '40 Packard, was so enamored with the HMV that she took my info so I could help find her one. At least there weren't any complaints about the music
Hopefully next year both of my favorite events aren't on the same weekend...
