Hi, I have quite a challenge for you. I have a lot of silent Laurel & Hardy movies on video, and for the soundtrack they used contemporary recordings. I managed to identify most of them, but there are stil a few that remain a mystery. Sometimes I know the title but not the artist, but most of the times I know neither of them.

So perhaps you can help me out? Because the music was used to accompany silent movies, parts of the songs are missing, or repeated. Also, there are some sound effects.

You're right. It's called "Rag Doll". I also managed to find the orchestra, it's Debroy Somers band. Thanks for the info, only 15 more tracks to go!

#5 is most likely "Stampede", a Fletcher Henderson tune, but this is not Henderson's arrangement, nor is the Edison version by Red and Miff's Stompers.
