Saw a early VV IV at a antique shop in Michigan City, just wondered if it would be worth $315.00.

To answer the question.....yes!!!. Why pay over retail for a machine with serious case damage..??.

I think I will go ahead and pass, and leave here.
I asked the owner/manager a real tall guy here and he said it is nice and he thinks $315.00 is a steal, he said worth about 800.00

"he said worth about 800.00"

On which planet? If I still had mine, I would sell it to him for $600, which is about 4 times more than it's "worth"...

I recognize that shop, I stop in on my way to Chicago whenever I go. There are a few dealers with various common machines, and they are all asking at least double the retail price. I did find a nice ball-in-claw foot parlor table for my Amberola V on the way back from picking it up, though...
