I would take them, but the freight from Arizona to NC would be insane...

John,
You most likely will not want to do this, but I thought I would ask. Uncle Dave Macon is from my home town in central TN. His home is being turned into a museum of sorts and the organizers have been requesting records or any other materials that can be found. I would like to request to purchase (not a donation) of the Uncle Dave Macon records so that I can donate them to the museum. I have purchased a couple via eBay over the last six months, but that gets expensive quickly. Please let me know if this is possible.
Thank you,
Matt Burke

Hi Matt,
I received an inquiry about the records before I received yours. This gentleman would like to see them in person, but won't be able to do so until the end of the first week in July. To be fair, I told him that while the records
will be for sale as a lot until he makes his decision, I won't be selling any records from the lot, either, pending his decision. Sending the Uncle Dave records to his museum sounds like a great idea, but I want to remain fair regarding what I'm offering. Hope you understand.
Best,
John
