Edison DD S19

Decided to uncover a few machines I redid about 15-17 years ago. For the life of me I cannot get the door on this S19 to open. Tried a thin knife and single edge razor blade in the area where I believe a spring loaded ball resides at the top of the door. Any suggestions?

Finally got the thing open with a small blast of WD40. Couple of wiggles and
it opened. I wanted to see what records were hidden in the machine, few interesting records
were in there New York Military band, Submarine Attack, Lindbergh, Lucky Lindy, and one record was
by Billy Murry.
This past Fathers Day I took my 1930 Model A Roadster to a car show and a Victor IV.
I put the IV on the leather trunk at the rear of the car and played "And The Little Ford
Rambled Right Along" by none other than Billy Murry. Went over big with everyone except
the judges....

Why? Don't they appreciate Billy Murray...?

Well Warrenton, Va. is fairly small town and although they only allowed 230 cars for the show the winner in each class of car was picked way before the show/judging began
The spectators really enjoyed it however and took a couple of hundred photographs of the car and I heard the usual Aunt (fill in the blank) had one of these machines.

Not to mention the younger set who identified the Vic IV as a repro CD player.......... All in all a great day..
