There was some talk about this a while back. It got me to thinking and I got my etched label and white label LUNF records out. I couldn't find any numbers. Where are they?

Usually etched in the dead wax right below the label. Occasionally etched into the bottom of the engraved label. Usually looks like "1234-A-43-2, but very early discs may just be "1234-2" or even just "2".
