Forum member LarryH makes the fantastic Truetone diaphragm. Steve Medved uses these as well. Search the forum for TrueTone and you will hear many rave reviews from other members including myself.

Ron Sitko has Diamond Disk diaphragms, the original rice paper and cork style, and also appropriate gaskets. Search the board for contact info.

Pictures of that replica diaphragm raises a question that I have wondered about for some time. The replica cork stiffener is made from a compressed sheet of cork particles, rather like particle board. All of the the cork originals that I have examined appear to be made from a solid slab of cork - you can see the wood grain, not a mass of particles. As such, the original corks must have been stiffer and thus affected the sound differently than these replica "decorations".
Opinions?
