There was one at Union. I am not sure if it sold or not. I believe Brice Paris or Gregg Cline had it.

Yes, Brice Paris had one at Union and I don't think it sold. If it didn't sell, it's on the west coast. Is that a problem? Jerry

There's usually one at the Danbury CT show. I suspect the seller has had it long enough to be willing to negotiate...

Yea, west coast is a problem. The one Bilton had is a no go.

Alot of machines change hands at Union that are pre sold by others and delivered. I've done it for others and have received several machines over the years this way.

Agree with Wes. If you don't mind waiting a bit, and the seller agrees, delivery to Union usually works for me. I've gotten a lot of machines that way.

In fact, I received four machines this year that were prearranged purchases. One of which I waited a year to receive. Also, if your machine is being delivered by a phonograph person you can bet it will be fully protected and packed correctly.

Yea, I've waited almost a year for a few too. For the right machine I think it's worth the wait.

Personally, I don't take big machines to Union unless they are pre-sold. Booth space at Union is expensive and uprights take up too much space. I believe you'll have much better results by advertising for a large machine before Union rather than wait to see what shows up. I had great uprights including an Amberola 1-A, Amberola 1-B, Victrola XVI, Haywood Wakefield wicker machine, and a painted & decorated Grafonola and all were pre-sold. If you like this type of machine, you are best to pre-arrange the purchase. I think we would all be astounded by the amount of pre sold machines that are delivered to Union or any big sale.
