For restoration work, it is sometimes necessary to try to duplicate aged patinas on metal parts. I thought it would be useful to start a thread on this subject to get members to post their various restoration methods to use for a future resource.

I found a site that has brass patinas listed and am posting it for your information. How about any other contributions?

For many years, I have used Birchwood Casey Gun Products. I have used Perma Blue, Super Blue, and Plum Brown Finish. They work excellent, easy to use, and look realistic.
