Recommendations for tapping out a reproducer thumbscrew?

I picked up a Columbia Grafonola a while back that needed some attention. Among other things, the needle holder screw has broken off with part of the shaft still in the reproducer. I do not have any tap out tools nor do I otherwise have any need for them.

Can anybody here do this or recommend a way to do this? I could of course send it to the usual repair folks but wanted to try here first as this is a project I'd like to keep at relatively low cost.

Thanks in advance.

I think APSCO offers this service for around $10.

A very small drill bit and hope it will Come out. Otherwise, drill and tap the new hole.
The second option is the bets IMHO.
Good luck with your project.
