What a fantastic setup! From liquid wax to recorded cylinder.

Much respect from me for all your efforts in showing folks how things used to be done.

In my effort to bring the phonograph to the public, here is some photos of my displays in the Bureau County Fair and the Tri County Fair. I liked the old buildings. The Tri County Fair I actually cast cylinders in public, shaved them, and Bryanna moulded 13 cylinders at the fair. There was lots of interest, and I heard many times that it was the highlight of coming there. Notice a nice original North American cylinder under glass. Also people enjoyed listening to the 1897 Home with automatic reproducer, using listening tubes just like of fairs of old.

here in the netherlands we selebrate the birthday of our monarch and on this national holliday and feast i go out to show my phono's to the masses
just like the fair gowers of old i charch a fee for a playing but the paying customer can choose whatever he wants to give little or big all of it is welkom and it goes right back into the collection anyway(for parts repairs or even new phono's)
my trusty columbia type c graphophone allways gets the most attention

i always have a bundle of fun doing this and it helps to keep my collection healthy also the people passing sometimes say ''hey i got one of those in my attic wanna have it!'' my 1903 g&t monarh frontmount came from someone who saw me on the street
also i generated atleast 2 new collectors with doing this

so its worth your wile and educational as a bonus
