Saw this on ebay:

And wondered if it was produced in conjunction with the Victor Ukelele instruction record (1925 electric with Vaughn de Leath as vocalist on one side!).

Either that or it is for accompanying (gasp) . . . Hawaiian records!!! LOL!
I've never seen one of these before and I used to collect ukes. A bargain at the BIN price!

They are not a nightmare to tune. Ukes are strung with nylon (the modern replacement for 'gut'), so there is relatively little tension on the pegs. I play. While the abbreviated form 'uke' is commonly pronounced 'yewk', the full name is properly pronounced 'oo-koo-lay-lay', not 'yewk-a-lay-lee' (the way 90% of the world mispronounces it! Now, everyone please send their bound koa Gibson and Martin and native Hawaiian ukes to me, please! Pineapple-shaped and Harold Teen and Triholippee ukes also accepted. :D

Obviously this is a must-have item for any fan of Victor’s Hawaiian selections. :D

It appears to be in very good condition, though.

Looks like a nice instrument, and well preserved.

I play a bit, my best uke is a Gretsch mahogany.
