I have to agree with Harvey.....what are you waiting for!!!??. It looks like the case (outer) will clean up real nice. Blue is very desirable. If it does clean up.....$300-$400+. Records not included.

Very nice, but not the "World's Smallest Phonograph". I believe that the Mikiphone was the smallest machine ever marketed.

Actually, I believe the little hand powered "Asahi" (sp) Gramophone made in japan (1920's) holds that distinction. You can see it in the "Compendium" by George & Tim. It is listed as rare. I've never seen one for sale.

I just got a nice blue Excelda, much like this one, as a birthday present a week ago. At the risk of posting a question in the wrong category: where does one get a replacement strap handle, marked with the Excelda stamp? It seems as if I'd seen them for sale a while ago, can't remember where (or is my wishful thinking creating a happy memory for me?)

 . Although I don't wish to highjack this thread. I'm sure most would agree the Belgium made Colibri is not only smaller than the Swiss made Excelda......But also a finely made pocket Phonograph.

Kirkwood, I'm not aware of a repro strap with "Excelda" embossed on. If you PM me, I can give to a contact in Europe you can try.

Why not post the info for a possible European contact? I need a strap, also...
