I have this flyer motor which belongs to a silver tone master portable and which I wanted to re-grease today it but does anyone have any ideas to get the stripped screw off? Thks

Are you talking about that messed up screw on the bottom right? If so, soak it with penetrating oil and use vise grips to grab the head tightly. Vise grips with cross hatch checking in the jaws work best. Clamp the vise grips on and use another set or a pair of pliers to turn the vise grips near the screw head. This produces more torque than just turning the vise grips by themselves. If that doesn't work, you will have to drill the screw head in the center and then use a screw extractor to remove it... or you could try to re-cut the groove deeper in the head with a dremel or a hacksaw blade.

You could try this: cut a new slot in the screw head, using a diamond impregnated cutting blade (available from Horror Fright) in your Dremel tool. Cut the new slot at a right angle to the old one. The penetrating oil soak before attempting to unscrew might help as well. The danger here is that you will unintentionally cut into the metal frame, permanently marring it; if you proceed carefully, with a good grip on the Dremel, this shouldn't happen. Good luck!

so complicated guys!
just heat up the screwhead with a pointy blue flame poor some oil on it and then simply unscrew.
srews are stuck because of rust in the shreads of the screw well.. metal expands with heat and oil wil cool it and imediatly lube the shreads of the screw making it now very easy to unscrew

it works for me every time sometimes the best awnser is a simple one

Did you get the shreads unshrewed yet?

The heartland oil should do the trick, but if it doesn't, and you are prepared to sacrifice the screw, you might try filing the head of the screw (without bruising the iron plate). When said plate comes off you should be left with a stump of the screw standing proud, which is easier to grip with a vice or a mole wrench. If this shears the stump there isn't any loss as you would have had to drill it out anyway ort use a small 'Easyout'.
