Brunswick 14-7 Panatrope questions

I am looking at a Brunswick 14-7 Panatrope in running condition with a decent but not perfect cabinet. The major problem is that someone has replaced the tonearm with an acoustic-era Victor tonearm and Exhibition reproducer.

So my question is - what is the correct tonearm and reproducer, and how hard will these be to find?

Also, how do these compare to the equivalent size Orthophonics?

I may have a tonearm & reproducer. See if you can find a picture and send it to me and I will see if it is the right one.

This YouTube video shows what I assume to be the correct tonearm and reproducer:

Anybody have a spare?

Did all of the large (i.e., non-portable) Panatropes have the same tone arm?

I have a Seville and a Cortez, and the only difference appears to be that the Seville tone arm is nickle-plated, which the one on the Cortez is gold-plated.

The reproducer on the Seville seems to have some die-cast (potmetal) parts, while the one on the Cortez appears to be all brass (this one I assume was just a running production change?).

52809,

Do you have a full photograph of that machine? It looks beautiful.

Are you looking at the same machine as johnny899 ? He seems to have a 14-7 with Victor parts, too.

52809,

Please excuse me, I misread things and thought that video was yours, when you were using it as an example of what you might need.

You should be able to pick up a tone arm and reproducer from Ebay. These show up occasionally (in both the nickle and gold plated versions).

Did you ever finish your restoration? Any pix?
Thanks.

Do you suppose the machine in the picture was refinished and, if so, how did they got it to look so beautiful?
