Hi folk

Just wondering if someone might be able to advise of suppliers of reproduction
two piece Fireside 19" Morning Glory Horns in maroon color and gold stripping
with a decal.

I have trawled the internet and see that Wyatt Musical supply these, although
there does not seem to be a way of contacting the Wyatt's other than telephone,
or snail mail. The problem for me is that I'm on the other side of the planet, and
the time difference makes phoning difficult.

Any suggestions or alternative suppliers would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards
Ade :)

You can contact Ron Sitko. Unfortunately, he can only be reached by phone as well and you will still have to get up early in the morning (middle of the night) in order to reach him during his hours.
Wyatt (as you know) is the other great source.
Hope this helps somewhat.... ;).

Ron S. is probably the way to go. Wyatt no longer paints his repro horns due to some health issues, so you just get bare metal.

Sorry to hear Dwayne out at Wyatt's has health issues. I dealt with him in the early 1990s. (1993 or 1994), he replaced the mainsprings in my Heineman Motor, still running at 20 years! He was young sounding, last I talked to him in 2011 he was harder of hearing. I am concerned who will carry the "torch" so to speak for providing parts and repairs in the next 20-30 years, as many of those that have contributed so much are getting up there in years.

I have heard great things about Ron Sitko, I heard he can supply just about any part.

The New Zealand Antique Phonograph Society still has some unpainted Fireside horns and associated decals. Let me know if you want a contact email and I can pass it on to you.

Again, thanks Gentlemen and sorry to hear about Dwayne Wyatt,
I wish him the very best.

Although I'd prefer painted horns, I might try locally first, re Scott's
suggestion, i.e., across the ditch.
