Heads up folks, there is an AMET Spring Motor Phonograph on Ebay!

It was within my budget earlier this morning when it was only a couple hundred dollars!

The last one I recall on eBay went north of $10k, it will be fun to watch this one.

Same here
It didn't take long to get started, but I'm sure the next few days will be much more prolific!

The auction was cancelled at $200 because "the item is no longer available". That stinks. I often wonder what line of reasoning someone will use to persuade a seller to cancel an auction? Does the seller really think the buyer will pay him more than the open market?

It appears that someone offered him more than he thought he would get. Like you said who knows what the market kight ha got him. When I spoke to the seller he was going to send me pictures of the upper portion of the horn also. Never hot them, oh well my money is still in my pocket.
