Here is a great tune I found on you tube. This band Ive not heard of before but this song sure is hot. Anyone know anything about them?

I've never heard of him either, and can't find any info other that he was a conductor & composer, and partly wrote a song called "I'm Confessin' (That I Love You)" in 1930.
A biography came up in a search on some Broadway site, but gave no info except a price

I guess he didn't record very much, and possibly on some obsure label?

It was originally released on Victor V-40111, in their early country music catalogue series (the V-40000 series used between 1928 and c.1931).
'Ninety in the shade' is matrix BVE.49443-2.
The flip side is 'Alcoholic blues', matrix BVE.49445-1, from the same session.
