Tight Sound Chamber on Mikiphone

I have a nice little Mikiphone with a 2 piece plastic sound chamber that attaches to the reproducer. It is in very nice condition, no chips or cracks. Problem is that when I try to assemble it, it is very tight, too tight for comfort, and I fear it will crack, like so many I've seen. Other than a destructive light sanding of the inside edge, is there another way to loosen it up enough to assemble easily?

Thanks! Cliff

Cliff, I have that same problem with my Mikiphone. I suggest that you leave the resonator assemble alone. The plastic is brittle and I wouldn't want to take a chance and break it.
