Interesting cylinder records/boxes

I just listed a few cylinder records or empty boxes on eBay ... some nice and/or rare items, basically for collectors of various boxes:

If some of you like to bid on any of them but like to reduce postage costs, I can offer that I ship cylinders for several buyers all together to my friend in Baltimore MD and he will ship within the USA. If there are a couple of you interested in this, it will reduce individual postage costs quite a bit. Just let me know, and we can come to any agreement you like.

I will list more cylinders the week after these current auctions ended. So check eBay again in a while, if you should not found anything now!

Also I like to take the opportunity to let you know that I am planning to do a book about cylinder record boxes. It's already a team of collectors rather than only me who are involved in this project. But any help would be welcome to get informations on smaller companies or photos of rare variations of boxes. The book will be mainly about the labels and boxes variations of all brands worldwide with focus on visuals rather than facts or catalogue lists. Basic information about each company/brand will be included though. There were so many nice boxes and variations of boxes by the "big" brands - so, we thought that a book like this has to be done. And as noone else did it so far, the plan is to be the first. Please get in touch with me, if you are interested in either supporting us or in getting a copy ... sometime in the distant future.
