I hope that everyone got a chance to get something special!
(My mother did comment about a couple of things: My father might have been over optimistic about Bing Crosby futures, and she would have done even worse had she gone with her first impulse to recycle all the paper "junk." We are so grateful for the Donley's help!)
How did it look to you all from the floor and from the web?

Michael,
I am amazed at the quantity and quality of your Dad's collection. I was always impressed the way he displayed it all in his home. It never looked cluttered. Your father has not only inspired me since I met him around 32 years ago but hundreds of other collectors as well. I was able to get a few items at this recent auction and at the one in June. But, I think I will treasure the vanity plate "EDISON" and display it in my collection. Randy Donley was kind enough to let me have one of them. Do you have any pictures that you could post of how some of your Dad's collection looked at home?

Did anyone happen to notice what the lot of record brushes with the Santa brush went for?
Thanks,
Gene

The record brush lot went for 575.00 plus 18 - 21% commission depending on how you paid. It was a nice lot that would have done better separating and selling them individually but they wanted to keep them together just as Larry had them the same with the framed victor and memorabilia grouping that brought 3500 plus 18-21 % commission.
I bought 12 lots and cant wait to go through it all. steve
