Diamond Disc Phonograph Packing Slip Database

Hi folks,
Working from a couple of other posts that were started by other members here:
http://forum.talkingmachine.info/viewto ... =2&t=15892, I've recently become more interested in the topic of Diamond Disc Phonograph Packing Slips.
I think if we could collect enough of these documents by surveying the membership here, we could establish a fairly precise method of dating the various DD models over the course of their production years.
This could be an important tool for everyone to use. I encourage anyone lucky enough to have other supporting documents, like a sales receipt, to include that information with the picture of your packing slip.
Photos will be most helpful because I've needed to enhance a couple of them to extract the date code due to faded and/or smudged ink.
This is a
perfect example of one that was posted by CDBPDX (Cliff) in the above linked post:
Best,
Fran

Fran,
Good for you for taking this on!
I only wish I had one or more of these to post.

With all the Chippendales out there, it seems like there must be additional packing slips in the hands of collectors that would help nail down the date code.
Good luck!
George P.

Thank you for the kind words, George!
With potentially a few hundred thousand various DD Phonographs having been produced, I hope we can achieve some success with this!
Best,
Fran

Hey Fran, I know your tracking chippendales, but here is the packing slip
I found in my Edison W-19 for what its worth. Hope this helps. Sorry there is no date
on it or letter codes.

Thanks, Gene, the more, the merrier!
I'm hoping that we see a
wide variety of these slips in the hopes that someday this database can provide us the ability to date our DD Phonographs simply from their serial numbers.

I'm having problems adding .jpg weblinks again... Does anyone know what the {IMG} command before the string is to post a weblink...I am running into that size issue again. These are not big picture files either. I have no problem posting Photobucket links to other boards on the web except this one.. What's the fix? I can't remember the command you put before the photobucket image link to make it work.
If someone lets me know, I can get some pics up right away on this message.

)
Thanks,
Tony K.

Hi folks,
I thought it would be a good idea for me to consolidate, in this post, the few examples of the packing slips that others have previously posted here at TMF. As I uncover more examples, I will note their source and any pertinent information with the image.
My sincere "thank you" for those members!

Here is a slip that was associated with a C-19 that was recently sold on ebay. I digitally enhanced the image and compared the "R" in the date code to another better example so that I could positively identify it. Image courtesy of George Paul.
