Wow, I have everything this machine needs from a trashed electric 8-12 that I can't bring myself to part out. I wish it was on the east coast, I'd grab it in a second

Wow. a VE 8-12 X.

With the correct folders ( albeit in not-so-great condition ).

Please - someone out west grab this ! :clover:

(Jerry B. ? CPDX ? )

( I have two VE 8-12 X machines, one recently acquired from Brianu, then other is my great-grandmother's, which was converted to a Victor four-spring motor in pre-REA Virginia. They are a VERY nice machine, and well-worth the price. :) )

I agree, a friend of mine has one and it's great, not that I really have room for another large ortho, but hey, I have to live up to my name!

I have family in Auburn, WA and could get them to pick it up. Between now and Union I could pick it up and get it headed east to Union in June. Something to think about.... Jerry

I think the seller is very motivated.

Speaking of---unless somebody has already snapped this up and the seller hasn't taken down the advert, this looks like a dandy deal in the DC area....

This one is in the later, dark & glossy finish with bronze versus gold tonearm, etc. I already have a VV 8-12, amongst other Orthophonics, so hopefully somebody here will find this one a good home....

It should find a good home! Wow. That is just one nice, clean original machine.
