I have a solid but scruffy VV-X that I would like to donate to a local folk music school/coffee shop. I think this would give the hobby great exposure and be a good hands-on introduction to recording history for the patrons. The motor was disassembled when I received the machine (rescued from becoming a "liquor cabinet"), any chance someone has a complete spring barrel or parts motor for cheap for a good cause? Thanks in advance!

The Victrola X went through many mechanical changes including the motor. You'll need to post a photo of the motor to have any chance of finding the correct spring barrel. Jerry
