Did anyone go to the auction, any treasures or reports?

I was there on Thursday only (no, not just for the Thanksgiving dinner) and left early so I can't say anything about prices for the higher end items. I ended up just buying cylinder of LUNF, speech only, for $110, a diamond B for $80 and a couple of other things. There wasn't much in the way of machines that I was interested in anyway and I had just bought an expensive item for the collection. I did hear that the Edison Class M Concert phonograph hammered for $15K. This, to me, was the star of the auction and I spent quite a while looking it over as I had never had the opportunity to really get a good look at one. It came with a Grenet battery, a modern power supply and a Vulcan cylinder.
Prices given do not include 10% buyers premium. I wish I had more information for you-usually I spend all three days there, but this time I couldn't.
BTW: If you received a catalog from them, you will receive a list of prices realized. If not, you can probably still download the catalog pdf from their website and I would imagine that if you call them they would send a copy of the price list as a courtesy.

I personally would love to know what the two Zonophone glass sided Concert Grand (London) models went for!? One appeared to be European with the table stand and the larger nickled horn with the red interior cone. The other was an American version with what appeared to be the shorter set-up with a 24 inch all brass horn.

Don't know their condition, whether they were complete, or had repro parts, but would love to know the prices!

The Zonophone London Grand sold for $4500. The other one never showed up and was not auctioned.

I won and lost two horns at the auction. I forgot to pack them in my car, and when I returned to the building two hours later, the horns were gone!

No, there were only a couple of us with large trucks or trailers. The machine sold early on the third day of the auction, and I was delayed in my arrival by an ice storm, and so missed bidding.

If Steve Stanton does not already know about the horns let him know. If someone picked them up by mistake they may contact Stanton or if they were there when his crew was cleaning up he may have them. This happened to me one year and I did not contacted Stanton's thinking my item was gone. To my surprise months later the next phonograph auction I attended he had my item waiting for me.
