I think the seller is clueless about what he has (duh. ).
only has a transaction history of 13, and he refers to the record as being made of vinyl....

It's a Raymond Hitchcock, and he didn't make a lot- definitely worth a bit, but certainly not THAT!

I contacted the seller and sent him that same link to the YouTube recording. He apparently is completely unfamiliar with 78 rpm records and thanked me for giving him a heads up...

One of Hitchcock's rare film appearances in UPSTREAM (1927) is available on disc. He plays a down at the heels ham actor & is very funny.
