I figured I would share my latest project in case somebody needs a similar item. I made this for a fellow collector who has a navy blue RCA 'Model 02' portable phonograph that was missing its original record holder. -Constricted of fabric bound plywood with a hand painted label.

Thank you. I made a pattern from a printed image of an original label. I then painted the label using a toothpick; the finer writings were done with a single hair brush.

Unfortunately my workshop isn't equipped for metal work; woodwork is hard enough as it is with just hand tools (I have no money or space for power tools). That is a good idea though!

PS- if you are not familiar with the RCA 'Model 02' phonograph, this is what it looks like. This picture is of an all original machine.
