New Edison DD reproducer diaphragm

I was told about a new great sounding Edison DD reproducer Diaphragm with a very odd look and shape. It was described as having a metallic, bottle cap shape, but had absolutely outstanding sound. Someone said they were sold by George Vollema, but he says he has never seen or sold any Edison diaphragm by that description. Has anyone ever seen or heard of this diaphragm?
