Have you found the item on the top of your wants list?

I am sure that most of you have a "wants" list of machines or disks that you would like to own and can never find. I thought I'd share my disk "want" which for a number of years now has been a recording of "If I had you" with vocals by Al Bowlly. I have literally hunted high and low for this one over about 8 years. I got pipped at the post for a copy about 3 years ago as one was for sale but I didn't get to the buy it now button fast enough to secure it and it was already sold before I saw it
However I have today got a copy - which arrived in the post and I thought I'd share it. As it only arrived today I have yet to do my own transfer so I have also attached a link to someones you tube video until I can do my own.
Recorded in 1928 it appears that not many copies were sold which together with various shellac recycling schemes during world war II and breakages over the years very few copies now seem to survive. My copy is a re-pressing - which I didn't know existed until now and the condition is a way off the usual E to E+ I would aim for but it fills a gap until / if I find another copy.

This is my top want that has now been satisfied. So what are yours?

Mine is a Hexaphone. But I can never afford one.

As someone who clearly has a phonograph collecting problem, I find that after I've acquired the item at the
top of my list, another soon takes it's place.
As of this minute, an HMV Lumiere is at the top of my list.

The top of my list is a Victrola XX. I have some cash set aside if I ever come across one but I've only seen pictures and never an actual one.

I know where 2 of them are. I bought them years ago. Can check to see if they are for sell?

For me, it's a matter of available space; I don't have any unless I kick the kids out of the house (believe me, I've given it some thought

). Eventually, they will go out on their own and then I'll be able to add from the following list, but not necessarily in that order....(BTW: they have no interest in having an antique Victrola on display in their rooms):
Victrola “Colony”
Victrola 7-10 (Spring or Electric)
Victrola 7-11 (Spring or Electric)
Victrola 7-25 (Spring or Electric)
Victrola 9-16
Victrola 9-18
Victrola 10-35
Victrola 12-1 “Cromwell”
Victrola 12-2 “Tuscany”
Victrola 12-15
Victrola R-20 (Radio)
I recently got lucky and found a VV-XXV "Schoolhouse" in awesome condition and for less $$ than I expected. When its delivered, I'll be able to put it in a good place that makes it look good on display and not cramped and cluttered. However, I'm maxed-out on space, unless (or until) I come up with other creative ways to display.
