Can I replace the warped aluminum diaphragm in my phonograph with a mica one? or will there be issues?

The biggest issue you'll find is that the metal diaphragm will probably
have a cone shape to it, especially as it gets closer to its attachment point to the needle bar.
The mica diaphragm will be flat, which will force you to adjust the needle
bar closer towards the flat diaphragm and distort the angle at which the needle bar and the
actual needle contact the record groove. This will increase record wear (or heavily damage them)
and probably offer very poor audio quality.

You may get lucky though, and have a diaphragm that carries a more flat overall
surface and get away with it.

What type of reproducer are you rebuilding?
