Pathé

Can anyone tell me what model Pathé this is? I can't find a model number on it anywhere, the plate has only Pathé logo and the serial number 2208. It is 5'3" high and a few inches over 3 feet wide. I have searched and search but come up with nothing. I had the cone replaced by a company in Ohio years ago. That chrome device under the machine is an orange crusher I've been dragging around for years.....

Pathé "Classique" Art Model, William and Mary style. I've owned the Tudor and the Sheraton Art Models but would give my eyeteeth for your machine.

A handsome piece of furniture; one would never guess there's a talking machine inside.

Thanks for the info. Quite a story behind the purchase :D Wish I could find more info on the Pathé models. Think there was a book on Pathé models on Yankee Trader but I missed it. Thanks again and best of holidays..

This model is pictured in Pathé Records and Phonographs in America, 1914-1922 on page 140, by George Copeland and Ronald Dethlefson, Mulholland Press, c. 1999. It only shows a fuzzy sketch of one and says "Pathé Actuelle Classique Model 'O'".

Bill, I just checked Mullholland Press and it appears to be still for sale new direct from Ron Dethlefson. Our GSPS club just held our meeting there last Saturday. I would probably inquire first to see if there are any copies left. Here's the link:

Bill, that's a really enviable machine, and I envy you (appropriately). I'm glad to know the ID for it now.
Quite a story behind the purchase :D
I think you've told that story here before -- this is the one where you had to get it out of the house right quick, before the seller's missus came home, right? That is a good one!
