Hello all. The Orlando Show is coming up in just a few weeks--January 23 & 24th. http://www.orlandophonographshow.com/ Anybody going?
I'm currently trying to make a final decision about both days or only Saturday. Having just completely blow my budget on replacing my TV sets with modern stuff, I won't be buying much, but love to prowl around and see what's there.

I think both days are good. There were a few dealers last year that showed up and set up on saturday only. You never know what will walk in the door. Steve

I will have a booth there selling my banners and will also have a small display of rarer Edison phonographs.

Maybe sellers could post under Yankee Trader the items they are bringing to sell so others here could know if there's something at the show they are looking for.

I'm going for the first time and plan to check out prices of Amberolas and records. Can't wait to see how they compare to the net prices.
I don't see a reason to go both days. Am I missing something?

Re: Going to the Orlando show?
I hope to see a good crowd this year. I will be setting up, like I have every other year. It's a great time to be in Central Florida. By looking at the weather map every one of you should be here! I'm not sure of everything I am bringing yet. Last year I sold cylinder records like crazy, so will try to dig out some more good ones for this year. I just picked 4 good project machines that are going "as found". And everything that I currently have here on the Yankee Trader will be there and more high grade machines that I don't particularly want to ship, but if they don't sell you may see on the Trader soon.
Come on, folks, gas is cheap, airfare is reasonable, hotels are reasonable, and warm weather is Free! Stay a few days and travel a few hours down to the Edison museum in Ft Myers. It's south so even warmer weather.
See you next week.

You must be there on Friday for the parking lot sale. That's the best day of the show. Sunday is also good because the dealers want to sell the stuff and not have to re-load it.
