Nellie Melba Machine & Edison w/Oak Cygnet

Saw this on Craigslist the other day (posted links in Ebay & Craigslist section). Really interesting machine. I fell in love with the Edison w/Oak Cygnet, wonder if the owner would trade for my 30 Model A roadster....

Why would all the Melbas have replacement motors? Didn't they share the same style motors as Victors sold in the States? Jerry

Is there an actual difference between what's known as a 'Melba' and a 'Nellie Melba'?

But look at the fun/excitement we have with the A's ---- go for a drive and you have a 50 % chance of making it back home !
