I think that Ronnie is referring to the uncharacteristic looking wide grain oak, which looks like oak plywood... not typical of oak cabinets of that period. It seems that the two I have seen in person, had quartersawn oak cases...

Although NOT a requirement... you might have better luck by establishing a price that you would consider and then work from there.

I am no expert, but it looks like cabinet grade ply. Maybe George could chime in or someone who knows about these.
