That catalogue number does not correspond to any listing in Koenigsberg's
Edison Cylinder Records: he lists two banjo versions (#7114 and #8143), and one band version (#57). The number you have cited belongs to a cornet solo, "Massa's in De Cold, Cold Ground".
Neither is it found in Frow's Blue Amberol catalogue: the only recording there is #1863. The numbers 2240 - 2251 appear to be foreign folk dances.
Are you sure you have the right number? Or could it perhaps belong to an Indestructible, rather than an Edison?

Has anyone seen one of these? The sound is great! If not, I may have to get one recorded from this recording:

Bright and crisp, and I want to hear it on my Edison.
I want to get this one recorded too:

Who is the best recorder in the business?

2422 is the University's catalogue number. The Edison number was 57 .
"Note: Edison Gold Moulded Record: 57"
