Hi, does anyone know where I can take my Victor Victrola VV100 for repair in the DMV (DC, MD, VA) area? I currently live in DC with the ability to load my Victrola in the back of my SUV to drive it somewhere local. Any recommendations would be great! Thanks!

I'm curious as to what type of repairs you need.
If it's a spring or motor repair, remove the turntable by lifting straight up, remove two motor board screws, tilt the motor up, disconnect the little support piece, and slide the motor board towards you and up.
If it's reproducer repair, turn the reproducer counter clockwise and slide off the tone arm.
If it's cabinet repair, you probably have a reputable wood worker in your area.
Please tell us what you'd like done and maybe post some photos.
Best wishes, Jerry Blais

Hi- I live in Northern Virginia, out Route 7 from the D.C. Beltway. I've collected and restored for 38 + years and would be glad to help you with your Victrola. Send me a PM and I'll forward my contact information.

I'm interested in getting any information you can provide. We have a v v 50 that needs a new motor i'm having a difficult time finding the motor. I also have a pate that needs a new reproducer. If you could give me a hand with those things, that would be great. If you need any more information in order to find the parts that would be something I can give you. Please, just message me, my son has autism. And he really loves his two vitrollers, and we would love to get them fixed. I'm pretty sure the reproducer my son could put on if I can find one, and i'm not sure yet whether or not he could put a nude motor on it or not. Where in williesburg, virginia, and we're willing to travel.
