Well it's probably a long shot here in North America, but I wont know unless I ask I suppose.


As the title suggests, I'm looking for an HMV Lumiere preferably the 460.
Any leads on a machine would be greatly appreciated as well.

In England there was the table top 460 and the cabinet 510. I've also seen a French model 460 that has a tilted turntable.

Did both models come in either oak or mahogany?

That seems a little more expensive than the ones I've looked at.
Is that because it's Oak?

I guess we'll see what it brings...

Not impossible. There was one for sale at the Union show a few years ago. I don't recall how much the seller wanted, but since then I've wondered if I should have paid more attention to it and bought it.

Yes they did, and so did their successors the 461 and 511 which were fitted with conventional internal horns.

It would seem so - I've never seen either model in the flesh though , only in auction catalogues.
