#1426... pretty early.
Hopefully that "shim" is Vernon Dalhart or something similar that won't be greatly missed...

My latest one has no feet at all, beyond little square stumps of cheap lumber. But for $60 including delivery, what can you expect?
ps - Lay offa Vern! Make that "Henry Burr"! hehe

You beat me to it. So, how about some Billy Murray? Not Whiteman, though. All mine are in the garage propping up a car that's missing a wheel.

Considering the low serial number (1426), I'd be willing to bet that it does have a brass reproducer. Sweet indeed.
