The only services I have used from there were informational, to find out the production dates of a couple of machines: I do not know about the rest...

Like Bill, I've only used them for information. Paul Edie has been great to talk to and always takes time out of his busy day to help. He's a very knowledgeable nice guy.

I have a Victor V that he restored and I think he did an outstanding job on it. When I bought it it was a basket case, but it was mahogany and I had been looking for one.
His restoration can make the machine look like it did when new, if you request it. He has a source for proper nickel and gold plating and can reproduce most original finishes. He even has a cabinet where he can fume an upright oak Victrola. I would not hesitate to use him to restore a Victor or Victrola. Unless you are restoring a special finish (Vernis Martin or something like that) I think he is the best, and he guaranties his work.

I bought a VV 4-7 from Paul Edie. He is an authority on Victors and Victrolas and a great person to talk to. As a matter of fact, the VV 4-7 I bought is the very same one pictured in "Look For The Dog". Very impressive to me.
