Today's Find: H&S Cylinder Cabinet

Went to an estate sale today and found this H&S cylinder cabinet that was labeled as a linen cabinet. It's in very nice condition with all the original hardware. Only issue is the pegs are missing but that's not a big issue. Great find if I must say so myself. Now I was told that I must get it out of the kitchen and clean it up.

It wasn't for linen or cylinders. It was for tube socks!

Several years ago, that happened to me. I guess that once the phonograph and cylinders were of no interest to the original owner, the pegs were busted off. Then the cabinet was re-purposed into a linen cabinet, or whatever. Nice find.

My wife has eyed every cylinder cabinet that I have found (with drawers) as a great place for lingerie. (I hoped I spelled the fancy word for underwear correctly.)
