I'm curious, did Emerson use the "Baby" Music Master horn in their bigger cabinets? Jerry

Hello Jerry, The Music Master Horn was used and in later years white plaster horns also. If you look at the different models you will see some yellow (wood) and some white (plaster). The lower end machines were not equipped with the Music Master Horn-----the upright missing the grill is one of my favorites because of "the hunt" to find what it looks like and then to get one. Thanks for the interest. Is anyone starting a Phonograph Museum? I would consider loaning My Emerson Collection if the room is available.

Wow! I'm impressed. It's neat to see a serious collection based around a lesser-known brand. (ie: not victor, edison or columbia.) Thanks for sharing!

Hello Martin, Thanks, I do enjoy collecting the Emerson machines, also have the related items, phonograph and record catalogs, wall hangings for stores, give away coupons, other unique finds----as well as the majority of all the record sizes. As records go---have the Emerson Talking Book items also. About victor----yes I do have the flat top, L-door vtla and 16's, as well as 6,11,12,16, 17, 18's and some others. Also have Columbia, Edison, Brunswick, Aeolian. Went a bit overboard in my collecting---have to admit I think Cheney made nice machines.
