I've had this phonograph motor for about forty years. Several times tried to discover what it is for, or who made it. The crank looks somewhat like a Brunswick crank, but the rest is a mystery to me. Can anyone identify it? Tnx, Russie Ofria

The platter with all the holes looks like it might be a Columbia.

Looks like a Thorens to me.
You'd think a motor of that size would have some sort of brand name or trademark on it.

I have no idea what it is but that appears to be one serious motor.

Based on the parts....turntable, crank, spindle and spring barrels....it is Swiss in origin. The Paillard table's look similar to Columbia, with all the holes in the casting.

The motor is indeed a "Swissie", This model was used in some of the larger Sonora consoles. I have, in fact, just such a console which has been gutted, and could use that motor if you find it to be surplus.l

I don't think I've seen another motor that mounts from the bottom (except motors with belt driven spindles). Unusual and cool!
