would anyone be able to suggest someone in the NJ area (aside from floyd silver) who can reliably handle spring motor repair and rebuilding?
I've dealt with george vollema and walt somers in the past, and both are great, but I'm trying to avoid the postal service here... would rather drop them off and pick them up myself.
any help would really be appreciated... I just don't have the space right now to handle spring work myself.
thanks.

Hi, My name is Bob Farrell. I have repaired over 1000 phonographs in the last 15 years. I am not that close but I am in East Islip, NY. I am easy to work with and very reasonable. Most of my repairs have been for local collectors and most of the antique stores on LI. If I can help in any way please let me know.
Thanks, Bob

I agree with Brian. I live in the Philadelphia area and would like to find someone in reasonable driving distance who can do motor/spring repair and other phonograph repairs that are beyond my basic skills. Both Charlie Martin in Bristol and Bob Snyder in Sellersville are now both gone. RIP Charlie and Bob.
I would appreciate a list of qualified, experienced, and reasonably-priced individuals who can do phonograph repairs in the Philadelphia-New Jersey-New York area. Thanks!
