3" Victor arm extension, anybody seen one

I've seen the 6" Victor support arm extension before on the larger Victor M & MS models. But this is the first 3" arm extension I have seen. This one pictured is on a Victor E. Has anybody else seen this short 3" arm before. Maybe I don't get out enough or I'm forgetting more than I know.
Best Regards, Larry

Larry,
Seems like an "odd" accessory, since I believe an "M" or "MS" support arm would give you the same distance.

It actually doesn't. With an M or MS arm you'd be off center by about an inch.

Yes correct there is a difference. The Victor E support arm with the 3" extension places the tone arm pivot 11" from the front of the case. With just the Victor E support arm the tone arm pivot is 8" from the front of the case and with just a Victor M or MS support arm it would place the tone arm pivot 9 ½" from the front of the case. Not a big difference but this is on a very early E so maybe at the time they thought there was a need for it. I had just never seen another 3" extension and I'm curious if others have or seen a advertisement. If there is a added purpose other then a larger horn that would be interesting.
