Do I have a worsening sound here?

I have been creating a lot of videos with to me a seeming loss of sound quality. This is the very first one I did several years ago. It sounds pretty much crisp an clean with nice resonates.

I quit after that recording due to the camera falling off the stand I had it one. When I tired another at that time it had a distorted and sort of buzzy sound. So when I tired it latter this year I found it to not be too bad as in this early one. But still I detect a different quality, some creeping overtones not heard in that first one.

Sadly that camera which has a very small case wants to fall forward and land on the floor which it has done a couple times. By now I think the sound is distant and tends to sound over driven, I took today to muting the music some which seemed to help but still the up front sound seems missing and way too much echoey effect. That might be the room but the room hasn't changed. I made this today and I think its more distant and the volume levels seem faulty. Maybe I am just sick of hearing them but I don't think so.
To me the sound is not up front like the first one. The piano records I did yesterday seemed to reverberate as well. I am wondering if something about the camera audio is not reacting as it was?
