Fun Going Through My Early 78rpm Record Collection

I've recently been slowly going through my collection of early 78rpm records (very large and getting unruly

) and one of the neat aspects about
not going through ones own collection in years is finding items that you forgot about. For example, among lots of other interesting records I found a few Pathé (one vertical and two lateral) records below that were just 'fun' and thought I would share pictures of them. My apologies for their not being in great focus but the lighting was not the best and I shot the pics quickly. 'I'm A Jazz Vampire' would have been fun to feature on my YouTube channel around Halloween! The Virginia Creepers was, of course, Lou Gold and His Orchestra. Not rare but nice to find on swirl Pathé.

Thanks Wolfe! Those who have well organized record collections surely cannot understand "the fun" I'm experiencing here in seeing records I forgot about but
my early 78rpm record collection is not well organized (never had the spare time!) which is probably why sifting through the collection can be be back-breaking and tiresome but also fun

sometimes!!
Below are a few more records that I found and I'd forgotten about!

Now those are quite nice. I never have seen a phonolamp disc! I have a Timely Tune, too. I like the pasted label for the auto graph as well! I would have those hanging on the wall.
James.

Thanks James. This PhonoLamp record is the only one I have ever seen/found as well! When I discovered it again recently in my collection I immediately remembered the day that I found and purchased it. It was a bitter cold day about 15 years ago and a lady contacted me through an antique dealer who knew my interests and he passed my telephone number on to her. She had only a small stack of records and the PhonoLamp record was in the stack. I remember my excitement at seeing a label I'd never seen before. All of her records were in nice condition including this PhonoLamp. I remember that I immediately examined it carefully for any defects like cracks or needle digs. And....YES!

No defects, no cracks, everything nice on it!
